Too much time on your hands means you have an idea, you create it and someone criticizes you. Thant ok, even admirable. The real problem is culture, of people being told to watch TV, do their work and shut up.
This common misconception of the post-industrial era, where one can’t make anything working alone (because of capital, etc) is still prevalent in many people. Luckily for us, it’s not true!!
One person, with creativity, perseverance and time can make a difference, and even if the idea might seem stupid, just by doing one is enjoying. Even the money is not really an issue, as this post on instant company clearly presents. In addition, doing also improves your own self-esteem, making you a better person overall.
