Writing Every Day

Shut up and Write!

by daniel on June 16, 2011

This post about writing hits a spot. One can’t have something to say unless you express it.

Here is the counter post quoting important people suggesting shut up unless you have something good to day.

Yes, most people will write stupid things, me included. But the point is to find a voice, to find the real expression of you. While most of the time it will be known truths, banal, obvious or just plain dumb; the exercise in thinking will bring unusual surprises.

One of them is the way of connecting ideas:

Learning by connecting the dots – how to learn by connecting concepts

Learning to write by asking questions

So perhaps is interesting to have a learning process where one asks the questions and answers?

Very much like Socrates
